Safety
Safety is a priority when creating a bicycle and pedestrian friendly town. Crosswalks and flashing lights are just one way we are making our town a safer place.
Scenic Trails
We are fortunate to have the Farmington River Trail, running through our town. This local bike path is often packed with cyclists and walkers with the lower section affording views of the Farmington River. The Farmington River Trail runs directly through historic Collinsville. This historic downtown area of Canton offers a variety of local shops, dining, and outdoor events.
Services
Many trail heads have informational kiosks. We are also working to put maintenance stations like this one shown here in Collinsville in a few more places along the trail.
